MIND
The countless hours of therapy, reading, classes, courses, workshops, weekends, programs, I collect in one virtual notebook. Some to read, some to remind me of the lessons I have forgotten and how far I've come. The journey is the reward, and there is no rainbow without rain, but these are easier said than believed. Repetition is retention, remember that. The more you know, the more you grow.
BODY
Improving your health doesn't happen overnight (despite my desperate desire for it to,) it's an adjustment. Day by day, step by step, tear by tear, decision by decision, you get the point. It's about learning and knowing and growing, honouring your body, and BURNING that fat off one sweat tear + healthy bite at a time. Because I am the only 'somebody' that can hold me accountable to my goals.
SPIRIT
Over the years, I find myself leaning on writing when I am overwhelmed with not knowing what else to do, or how to move forward. Journalling is when my soul lets go. Writing is the only way I feel truly comfortable sharing my feelings and emotions with anyone else. Sometimes even myself. You'll find my ample meanderings of thoughts in here, if you look closely you might be able to see a few words to live by, like I do.
