The Isa Body Challenge

When I signed up for Isagenix, I thought I was just jumping into a protein shake routine. There was so much more to learn but it all made sense soon enough. I was encouraged to sign up for the Isa Body Challenge for the prize potential, motivation, and money you get just for participating, sold! I play to win.

I don't think I'll win a prize (never say never!) but I got something better; I'm pregnant! The weight I've lost has since been gained in preparing a baby (I make big babies) so I could care less about numbers or measurements but I was relieved to know how easy 'competing' could be. I'll definitely be back post baby, and there'll be no denying that I'll be vying to be a finalist. In the meantime, as I wait for baby, here was my written essay for my first challenge:

"I started this challenge with the doubts that it wouldn’t work... I already knew ‘how’ to be healthy, I didn’t know ‘why’ I was choosing not to be. I knew I needed to get to the bottom of my why if I was going to change for the better, but life with work, children, and everything else, didn’t afford me the time to stop and contemplate.  Finally I realised I had nothing to lose in jumping into the program without knowing my ‘why’ yet.  And it was such a good decision!  The day after my first full cleanse I felt ELATED!  So much so I thought something might be wrong with me — quickly asking myself, “really Kristin, you’re now worried because you feel so GOOD?!? Let’s just own this greatness.”  I can’t say I burned off the kilos I wanted... my body was so nutrient full that I became unexpectedly pregnant.  The easiest conception so far, my husband and I are so thrilled, and I know Isagenix played a big role in setting my body up for success."
